Stan Torrie is the clinic manager of family services at Coulee Medical Clinic, located inside the newly built Coulee Place.

Alberta Health Services offers homecare throughout the province, but Torrie says some individuals require more care and will choose a private care option. Luckily, this option is available in Taber. It’s shoveling the driveway, preparing meals, and everything in between that allows and supports the patient in living a good lifestyle.

“The services we offer are customized based on what the individual person needs. We are an extension of what their family would do for them, and the staff here really love what they do. We’re really excited to offer this additional care locally. One thing I like is the options Taber has for healthcare. The Taber Health Centre, two clinics, and the physicians and nurses are excellent and provide quality care. People are always blown away at how friendly and helpful our care workers are. We live in a compassionate and caring town, where people do what they need to do. It’s a great community to be a part of,” says Torrie.
